Bespoke design process
Our design studio is located in the storied Downtown Los Angeles Diamond district. We’re available for both in person consultations as well as virtual meetings.
We’ve collaborated with our brilliant clients for nearly two decades, translating their visions and bringing their desires into tangible forms of adornment. Our team of expert stone cutters and designers offer a careful and measured process, merging innovative and ancient technique, honoring tradition and crafting original heirlooms. Our collection of gemstones includes both modern and heirloom pieces to choose from.
An initial in-depth design consultation focuses on your inspiration and lifestyle, clarifying the function and personal meaning to be expressed in the piece. We aim to understand the muse that motivates each bespoke creation, the artistic aesthetics, references, colors, shapes, and symbology that support the purpose of each distinct design.
This custom practice takes time, so please plan ahead and know that beyond communication and clarity, is the actual craft. Even custom solitaire rings that are very straightforward can take 6 to 8 weeks to complete. Yet, shapes that utilize the best of our creative skills can take 3 to 4 months for maturation. Designs can be edited along the way, improving the end product. Unique pieces of jewelry need room to breathe just as any sculptural work of art deserves.
